1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport for sale in Georgia. This Chevelle Muscle Car is an original SS car and was restored in 2006 and almost everything on the car was rebuilt, restored, or replaced. The car runs and drives as good as they come and the restoration on the car alone exceeded $40,000. The paint is as slick as glass and the body is laser straight. It is rust free and the body panels and the gaps are excellent.

The engine is a 396/350hp Chevelle motor with a four speed. The motor has been completely rebuilt with high performance parts and it has that classic big block rumble. It runs very strong. The 4-speed transmission shifts smooth and this car is a real pleasure to drive. A lot of attention was paid to detail during this restoration and it shows. This is the kind of car that the closer you look the more that you like the car.

1968 Plymouth Road Runner

1968 Plymouth Road Runner for sale in Louisiana. Plymouth was the first to exploit the market for a low priced performance American Automobiles with the 68 Road Runner. The idea of putting a powerful engine in the cheapest, lightest model was not new. But with the Road Runner, Plymouth did all the work for the customer. With a low price youthful buyers could the Road Runner. Using Road Runner identification and a horn that emulated the cartoon bird's "Beep-Beep" got attention in the marketplace.

A stripped Plymouth Belvedere coupe was the basis for the Road Runner. The Road Runner came with a bench seat, rubber floor mats, a hot V-8 and a standard four speed transmission. A two door hardtop was added mid-year 1968. 29,240 coupes and 15,359 hardtops were produced. 1,019 were made with the Hemi engines. The Road Runner coupe sold for $2,896.00 and hardtops were priced at $3,034.00. Engine options increased the price. Available were a 440 cubic inch 350 horsepower engines, 440 cubic inch 375 horsepower and a 426 cubic inch 425 horsepower.

1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL

This 1962 Galaxie 500XL stood out as one of the best examples of Ford Muscle Cars. It was large and had clean lines along with a powerful 406 cubic inch V-8 that developed 405 horsepower. This engine was equipped with triple carbs and a special cam. It was known as a "T-Bird Special 406". Included with 406 special was a B-W four speed with ratio's of 2.36:1, 1.78:1, 1.41:1 and 1.0:1. This Ford Muscle Car obtained speeds of 140 MPH, 7 seconds 0-60 and the 1/4 mile in 15.5 seconds at 92 MPH.

1970 AMX For Sale

In 1970 the AMX was built tougher with its new 360 cubic inch V-8 that developed 290 horsepower. Other options included a 390 cubic inch V-8 engine with 325 horsepower A four speed transmission on the floor was standard and a Hurst shifter was also standard.

AMC built only 4,116 1970 AMX for sale. On the outside the AMX got new rear lamps and a restyled front end shared with Javelins. The grille was flush with the hood and a redesigned bumper housed square parking lamps. A horizontally divided, crosshatched grille had four very prominent bright horizontal moldings. The grille also incorporated circular rally light. The bumper even included an air scoop to cool the front brakes. The restyled hood had a large ram-induction scoop and the 1970 AMX looked more like its pony car rivals. Factory price for the 1970 AMC was $3,395.
