It took Chevrolet a couple of years (1967) to field a competitor to the Ford Mustang. However, the 1969 Camaro hit the Muscle Car target squarely with a RS/SS version. This 1969 Camaro convertible has had a frame up restoration.

Under the hood is an impressive 510 horsepower GM Performance Ram Jet 502 engine that features aluminum heads and intake, forged pistons, steel crank, hydraulic roller cam and 4-speed manual transmission to a GM 10 bolt rear end. Other features include a Billet Specialties serpentine system, ceramic coated long tube headers, Ron Davis aluminum radiator and electric fans.
