In ’68 Plymouth set out to build a back to basic muscle car and this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner was there choice. They choose a Plymouth Satellite platform and added a few options like basic vinyl seats, disc brakes and AM radio. The early ones came like this one with the 2 Door Pillar Coupe. Later, they had a hard top that was a bare bones factory hot rod. This Plymouth Muscle Car has the correct bench seats and 4 Speed Shifter. The seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner have all been replaced on this car. When you look at the dash it looks correct with the factory AM radio. It has the wood grip wheel with the Beep Beep Horn Button.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it looks great with the inner fenders being painted correct. The engine is a 1968 model 383 cubic inch 335 horsepower V8 that is mated to a 4 Speed transmission and a 8¾ rear end. Most Road Runners had manual steering and manual disc brakes.
