1964 Chevrolet Impala SS - The Chevrolet Impala is an automobile created by the Chevrolet unit of General Motors in 1958. Impala cars were pretty unique due to their sporty trim packaging. The 1964 Chevy Impala Super Sports were powered by a 283 engine, 2 different 327 engines and an optional 340 horsepower 409.

1961 Chevrolet Impala SS
For Sale In Louisiana
1961 Chevrolet Impala SS for sale in Louisiana. The Impala Super Sport was the first true American muscle car. This option could be ordered for Impala Coupes, Sedans and Hardtops. It was a $54.00 dealer installed option. It included a "SS" emblems, padded dash spinner wheel covers, power steering, power brakes and a 7000 RPM tach.
A 283 cubic inch v-8 was standard but two V-8's were available at prices in the $344 to $500 range. One was a Turbo-Thrust 348 that came in 340 horsepower with a four barrel carburetor or a 350 horsepower with three two barrel carburetor. A 409 cubic inch Turbo-Fire V-8 came in 360 horsepower with a four barrel carburetor or a 380 horsepower with three two barrel carburetor. A four speed close ratio transmission was $188.00 extra.

1966 Chevrolet Impala SS 2 Door Hard Top For Sale
1966 Chevrolet Impala SS 2 Door Hard Top for sale in Connecticut. Engine is a powerful 454 cubic inch V-8 with 400 Horsepower. Transmission is a 5 Speed Tremec with a 12 Bolt 4:11 Posi Traction rear end. Exterior color is (873) Red Bucket with a (R-R) Regal Red interior. Factory options include AM-FM radio, power steering, console with gauge package and Rally Wheels.
