1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible For Sale

1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible For Sale. The 1968 GTO was designed by Russell Gee and John De Lorean with a long hood and short deck. It was a more streamlined GTO than the previous Year with shorter wheelbase.

GTO's featured dual exhaust, a three speed with a Hurst shifter, red line tires, pin stripping, bucket seats,carpeting and disappearing windshield wipers.

Thsi 1968 GTO Convertible was equipped with a 400 cubic inch 350 horsepower v-8 engine that in 1968 could run the 1/4 mile in 14.45 seconds at almost 100 MPH.

1967 Oldsmobile 4-4-2

The 1967 4-4-2 option was available for Cutlass Supreme two doors. Base price were $2,694.00 for the coupe, $2,831.00 for the hardtop and $3,145.00 for the ragtop. 1970 Coronet Super Bee For Sale

The 1970 Coronet Super Bee was restyled along the same lines as the R/T. The Super Bee did not get dummy rear fender scoops as standard equipment. This muscle car had horizontally divided taillights, hood tach, spoiler and bumblebee stripe. Super Bee paint included Plum Crazy, Sublime and Go-Mango. Options were called Kruncher and Bee-Liever.

The Super Bee was equipped with a 383 cubic inch 335 horsepower magnum V-8 and a 3 or 4 speed transmission. Optional engines included a 440 cubic inch 390 horsepower and a 426 cubic inch 425 horsepower. With the 383 it could do 15 seconds in the 1/4 mile. 11,540 Super Bee's were made.

1963 Corvette Sting Ray Z06

In 1963 Chevrolet's all new 63 Sting Ray was very hot on the track. It had a new body, independent rear suspension, knock off wheels and Z06 racing options.

The Z06 kit bore the mark of Zora Arkus-Duntov. It was equipped with a new fuel injected 327 engine. Factory price was $6,732.00. This Vette had a 95 inch wheelbase, 360 horsepower engine, 0-60 MPH in 6.2 seconds and made the 1/4 mile in 14.6 seconds.

1965 Comet Cyclone


1965 restyling gave the Comet vertically stacked headlights that made it look more like a Ford than a Mercury. The grille used horizontal bars theme. Side chrome was limited to the roof quarter panel and three thin horizontal pieces on the front fenders. The Cyclone came only as a hardtop with bucket seats a console, a tach and unique wheel covers.


The Cyclone came equipped with a 195 horsepower V-8 or a Super Cyclone with a 220 horsepower V-8. 114 inch wheelbase. Factory price was $3,544.00.

1966 Pontiac GTO


The 1966 Pontiac GTO had a smoother, rounder appearance with wide wheel openings and a recessed split grille. There was now a separate GTO series. GTO features included a distinctive mesh grille, bucket seats, single hood scoop, walnut-grain dash inserts, specific ornamentation, 115 inch wheelbase and dual exhausts.


The 66 GTO was equipped with a 389 cubic inch 335 horsepower V-8 engine. It had a Carter four barrel carb and a 10:75 compression ratio. It could do 92 MPH at 15.4 seconds in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 in 6.8 seconds.

1961 Chrysler 300G Convertible


This great looking 1961 Chrysler 300G Convertible is equipped with a 413 cubic inch V-8 engine rated at over 400 horsepower. 2 Carter Type AFB Model 2903S 4-barrel carburetors. Transmission is a automatic Torque Flite. Additional features include power steering, power brakes, power windows, power top and power antenna. It also has swivel bucket seats, dual exhaust and wire wheels.

Chryslers from the 1960s featured some of the most outrageous designs of the Muscle Car era. This Chrysler is painted Viper red and has a tan interior. This was the last year for fins on the Chrysler 300.

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback


The Mustang was introduced in April 1964. At first it came as a Sport Coupe and a ragtop. In the fall of 1964 a fastback called the 2 + 2 was added. When it comes to the Mustang Fastback it is the ultimate American road warrior. The Mustang Fastback had the popular long hood - short deck look and bucket seats.

The Mustang Factback was equipped with a 225 horsepower Challenger Special 289 or the Hi-Pro 272 horsepower 289 cubic inch V-8. The GT option included quick ratio steering, disc front brakes and other flashy stuff.

1966 Pontiac LeMans For Sale


The Pontiac LeMans was a model name applied to an American Automobile offered by the Pontiac division of General Motors starting in 1962. The model name lasted until 1981. In 1966 Pontiac built in limited numbers of these LeMans Muscle Cars. Shortly after the start of the 1964 model year, the LeMans became available with a new performance package designated as the GTO. The GTO became a separate model of its own in 1966.

1971 GTO "Judge" For Sale


The 1971 GTO Judge was based on the LeMans Sport which included all LeManns equipment. The 1971 Judge had an exclusive Endura front end treatment with a special scooped hood. The GTO Judge was equipped with a 400 cubic inch V-8 engine that developed 300 horsepower. Equipped this way the 1971 GTO Judge could do 14.4 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 98 MPH. Also available was a 455 cubic inch 355 horsepower engine. Adding all options to the price the hard top sold for $3,840.00. A very rare convertible sold for $4,070.00. Only 17 1971 Judge ragtops were produced.

Ford Brings Back The Mustang Boss 302


It has been reported that the Ford Motor Co. is reaching back 42 years to dust off one of its most famous Mustangs - The Boss 302. Ford first produced the Boss 302 in 1968. The new Boss 302 is reported to have new performance parts, a fancy paint job and the famous name. The 2011 will compete with the Chevy Camaro.

Ford hopes to sell this modern Muscle Cars to the serious weekend track racers who want a car they can also drive to work. The Boss 302 will have a stiffer body, enhanced areodynamics and higher revving V-8 engines. In additional it will have a better air intake and revised cam shaft that will boost the horsepower to 440. The new Mustang will have 19 inch racing wheels and tires.

1967 Camaro SS For Sale


The initial engine offering for Muscle Car maniacs was a hot L48 295 Horsepower 350 cubic inch V-8 in the SS 350. It had a raised louvered hood, bumblebee striping, SS badge, red stripe tires and stiff suspension. A H.D. three speed gearbox was standard in the SS.

On November 26, 1966 Chevy released a pair of 396 inch big block V-8 options. The L35 produced 325 horsepower while the L78 produced 375 horsepower. These cars could do a 14.5 second quarter mile. 34,411 1967 Camaro SS's were made.

1964 Buick Riviera For Sale


1964 Buick Riviera For Sale. The 1963, 1964 and 1965 Buick Riviera was an agile midsized hardtop coupe inspired by the success of the Ford Thunderbird but based on a Rolls-Royce. The Riviera was hailed for its clean blend of curved and razor edge lines. The Riviera name had been in use by Buick since 1949, but this model was different from any other Buick. The Buick Riviera was fast and powerful, A big V-8 engine offered 100 mph cruising speed and zero to 60 mph in less than 8 seconds. A 401 cubic inch engine was standard and a 425 cubic inch engine was optional. A three speed automatic was standard. Price in 1964 was $4,318.00 to $4,385.00 and over 40,000 were built in 1964.

1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone

1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone for sale in California. A 1965 restyling gave the Comet vertically stacked headlights that made it look more like a Ford than a Mercury. A 289 cubic inch engine that developed 225 horsepower was standard and had a 9.3:1 compression ratio. Option engine was a 289 cubic inch with 271 horsepower. A three speed transmission and a four speed was $188.00 extra. In a quarter mile the Cyclone ran at 82 MPH in 17.1 seconds.

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport for sale in Georgia. This Chevelle Muscle Car is an original SS car and was restored in 2006 and almost everything on the car was rebuilt, restored, or replaced. The car runs and drives as good as they come and the restoration on the car alone exceeded $40,000. The paint is as slick as glass and the body is laser straight. It is rust free and the body panels and the gaps are excellent.

The engine is a 396/350hp Chevelle motor with a four speed. The motor has been completely rebuilt with high performance parts and it has that classic big block rumble. It runs very strong. The 4-speed transmission shifts smooth and this car is a real pleasure to drive. A lot of attention was paid to detail during this restoration and it shows. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner

1968 Plymouth Road Runner for sale in Louisiana. Plymouth was the first to exploit the market for a low priced performance American Automobiles with the 68 Road Runner. The idea of putting a powerful engine in the cheapest, lightest model was not new. But with the Road Runner, Plymouth did all the work for the customer. With a low price youthful buyers could the Road Runner. Using Road Runner identification and a horn that emulated the cartoon bird's "Beep-Beep" got attention in the marketplace.

A stripped Plymouth Belvedere coupe was the basis for the Road Runner. The Road Runner came with a bench seat, rubber floor mats, a hot V-8 and a standard four speed transmission. A two door hardtop was added mid-year 1968. 29,240 coupes and 15,359 hardtops were produced. 1,019 were made with the Hemi engines. The Road Runner coupe sold for $2,896.00 and hardtops were priced at $3,034.00. Engine options increased the price. Available were a 440 cubic inch 350 horsepower engines, 440 cubic inch 375 horsepower and a 426 cubic inch 425 horsepower.

1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL
Factory Race Car

This 1962 Galaxie 500XL stood out as one of the best examples of Ford Muscle Cars. It was large and had clean lines along with a powerful 406 cubic inch V-8 that developed 405 horsepower. This engine was equipped with triple carbs and a special cam. It was known as a "T-Bird Special 406". Included with 406 special was a B-W four speed with ratio's of 2.36:1, 1.78:1, 1.41:1 and 1.0:1. This Ford Muscle Car obtained speeds of 140 MPH, 7 seconds 0-60 and the 1/4 mile in 15.5 seconds at 92 MPH.
